Who are our workshops for?
Research students (from Honours to PhD):
Research students are the OG audience for our workshops – Inger has been working with them for 20 years and has studied their needs closely. (You can see all about her research and its impact here). We use an activity based pedagogy where research students can bring their own work into the classroom and learn how to progress it – from writing a thesis to giving a killer conference presentation, or using latest AI to speed up their literature reviewing and analysis. We show research students how to become peak performers, during their degree and afterwards. We love doing this work most of all – why? We believe research students change the world and we are determined to help them live their best professional life.
Early career academics
The first few years out of a PhD can be confusing and tiring – you think you’ve learned all you need to know about research, but then you find out there’s more… so much more. We’re here to help. Our early career workshops connect people at the start of their careers to work on hard problems, like keeping the teaching load cooking while writing those grant applications and feeding the publication pipeline. We teach early career academics how to be productive without losing their minds through teaching practical project management, communication and leadership skills.
